Provided Interim Fundraising Leadership: liaison to board fundraising committee and external vendors; oversaw development staff and formulated strategies to optimize fundraising results.  

Belmont Childcare Association
Conducted Board Assessment and formulated recommendations for governance, fundraising, diversity and planning; provided prospect research and revenue diversification strategies.

Hetrick-Martin Institute
Provided leadership continuity as Interim CDO and managed CDO Search. Oversaw staffing and systems restructure. Coached staff and Executive Team, facilitated development retreat.

City Year New York
Designed and facilitated a multi-day development staff planning retreat which enhanced a shared understanding of team roles and produced a consensus-driven, coordinated fundraising plan. 

PENCIL
Served as Interim Vice President,  providing critical continuity during a national search process; enhanced existing fundraising work plans; provided staff Capacity-Building and Coaching; and planned and executed a successful 20th Anniversary Gala that exceeded its goal.

National Working Positive Coalition
Provided Executive Leadership Coaching and Capacity Building for this National Coalition; guided fundraising efforts; implemented tracking systems for moves management; and crafted solicitation strategies to underwrite a national convening conference in DC.

Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund
Board Engagement Assessment and Capacity-Building; clarified roles and fundraising expectations; offered Committee Structure recommendations; provided Coaching and Capacity-Building for Leadership and staff, and crafted a Strategic Fundraising Plan to optimize and diversify revenue.  Provided Interim Development Leadership during a time of transition.

BOOM! Health
Provided capacity-building services; identified prospective supporters of education and health programs for young women and girls; created detailed profiles and solicitation strategies for top prospects; and wrote a report to engage Board in outreach.

Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders
Engaged as Interim Director of Institutional Advancement for this National Advocacy Organization for LGBTQ elders. Managed foundation relations, stewardship; and proposal and report production; Formulated recommendations to streamline internal systems and issues with grants management.

Queer & Sober New York
Assisted a nascent, LGBTQ addiction- recovery group secure fiscal sponsorship while its 501(c)3 was pending; created cases for funding and solicitation strategies; and provided ongoing consultation.

Gay Men’s Health Crisis
Engaged as Interim Managing Director of Development,  Communications, and Marketing, during a period of upheaval and transition; increased revenue, improved donor retention; launched new planned giving program; events, and designed and facilitated a strategic staff retreat.

Stonewall Community Foundation
Served LGBT Community Foundation; created RFPs; chaired Grants Selection Committee; convened a Corporate Outreach Task Force; prepared report and presented findings and implementation strategies.

Lower East Side Tenement Museum
Strategic analysis of museum tour product; proposed new tour models, schedules, and pricing to ramp up supply to meet growing demand; resented findings to Leadership.
