Finlay Consulting Services is always on the lookout for exceptionally talented, bright and committed individuals for internships and short-term engagements. Specific areas of support currently needed include:

Candidates should be solution-oriented, flexible, intelligent, energetic, attentive to detail, committed to excellence, and dedicated to improving the nonprofit sector. Excellent writing and communications skills, as well as solid judgment and problem-solving ability are necessary. Good presentation skills are required for Business Development and Interim Development roles. Knowledge of donor databases, best practices in fundraising and grantmaking, and budgeting and finance skills are also very helpful, but not required.

PRO-BONO CONSULTATION GRANTS

Smaller organizations (under $3 million) are in great need of fundraising help because they often do not have sufficient fundraising capacity on staff, and do not have the budget to outsource. That is why Finlay Consulting Services offers Pro-Bono Consultation Grants. Application and eligibility requirements will be published in our SOLUTIONS NEWSLETTER. We anticipate one  grant round each year to support a discrete fundraising project for a deserving non-profit organization in need of consultant support. Questions can be directed to info@finlay-consulting.com.

Applications will be reviewed in a competitive process, and a pro bono grantee will be selected. Prior to award, the selected grantee will be required to verify organizational budget, 501(c)3 status, and meet all other eligibility requirements.  Application instructions, deadlines, and eligibility requirements will be always be posted on our FACEBOOK PAGE, TWITTER ACCOUNT, and featured in our SOLUTIONS NEWSLETTER, so be sure to join our MAILING LIST to receive timely updates, news, and special offers.
